Creating mailshots not junk mail
Although the industry success rate for mailshots is less than one third of 1%, recent studies have shown that mailshots are still a highly cost-effective way to generate business. The key is to maintain contact in order to gain the confidence of your potential customer about using your services even this takes more than five or six attempts.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing recognised this in a recent report commenting: “Regular, coordinated marketing will provide a consistent presence amongst target clients and help to create a recognisable brand and ultimately help bring in more business”
