P35 Employers annual return

The tax year has now come to an end and for all employers it is time to complete the Employers Annual Return form P35, together with the related P14's and P60's for each employee. Please remember that there is a £250 refund available if you file everything online.

19th May 2005 is the final date for submission of these forms and if you need any assistance or advice, please give us a call.

High expense bills

A report from Global Expense revealed that the average UK employee individually claims £4,262 a year from their employer.

Most of the claims are made through business travel, followed closely by company cars and accommodation.

When you focus on growing a business or keeping customers, it is easy to lose control of overheads. High quality and relevant management accounts showing current figures compared to either budgets or prior years can isolate areas where savings could be made.
